Raised Panel Bed - Low Footboard

This variation on my raised panel bed has a low footboard and is designed to be used without a boxspring. As with all my beds, we build this to order and will adjust the bed to fit the thickness of your mattress. If you'd like to use a boxspring with your mattress we will substitute angle iron supports for the slatted platform. For more information on bed construction see my bed construction details page.

Shipping
This bed ships by UPS in multiple packages. Assembly is very straight forward and assembly instructions are included.
US Shipping costs for the contiguous 48 states are:

• Twin, Full or Queen $350
• King or California King $450

All king size beds include a center support slat and post. An optional center support is available for full and queen size beds.

Twin: 43" wide x 79" long x 44" high (See note about height below)
Full: 58" wide x 79" long x 44" high
Queen: 64" wide x 84" long x 44" high
King: 80" wide x 84" long x 44" high
California King: 76" wide x 88" long x 44" high

Bed Overall Height: Overall bed height will depend on the thickness of your mattress (or mattress & boxspring). The height to the top of the headboard posts will be 22.75" above the top of your mattress.

The inside dimensions of the bed frame are 1" longer and wider than the standard mattress size to allow for bedding.

• Cherry
• Maple
• Walnut +$650

The base price for this bed is for either cherry or maple and includes a slatted hardwood platform for your mattress. No box spring is required. If you would prefer to use a box spring we can supply angle iron supports rather than slats. King size beds also include a center support beam and post.
The following optional items are also available:

• Center support beam and post for full or queen beds +$150

All beds are built to order so that the headboard can be placed at the correct height in relation to the top of your mattress. When we receive your order we will contact you to get the thickness of your mattress or mattress and box spring. If you will be purchasing a new mattress but haven't picked it out yet please don't let that keep you from ordering your bed now. We typically have an 12-16 week backlog so you'll have at least a few weeks to get your mattress dimensions to us. Placing your order right away will get your bed in our production schedule while you pick out a mattress. All types of mattresses can be used on our beds.
