Returns Policy

I have been building furniture since 1982 and have not had a single piece of my furniture returned. However, I realize that making a large purchase on the internet makes some people uneasy. For this reason I will accept returns in certain cases:

If you are not fully satisfied with a standard, non-customized piece of my furniture you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price less a 20% restocking charge. Note that the natural grain and color characteristics of the wood used are not a valid reason for a return. If you have a particular preference for a certain type of grain pattern (for example, more heavily figured vs more plain grain, or more vs less mineral streaks, etc.) please discuss this with us when you place your order and we will do our best to accomodate your preference, but even in this case we do not accept returns based on grain preference. You must pay for return shipping and your original shipping costs are not refunded. Returned furniture must be in as-new condition. All costs incurred in returning your furniture to as-new condition will be deducted from your refund. You must call for a return authorization before returning any furniture. I do not accept returns of any customized furniture. In addition, once work has begun on a custom piece of furniture you will be charged for work done, including material and design time, if you decide to cancel the order. This is in addition to the standard cancellation charge.
