About Our Desks

All of our desks are built from solid hardwoods using traditional, time-tested joinery. These pieces are built to last several lifetimes. All desks have the following construction features:

100% solid hardwood construction from responsibly harvest lumber. Available in solid cherry, maple, oak, walnut and mahogany (see wood choices). Cherry means solid cherry not cherry veneer on particleboard or a "cherry finish" on a cheaper wood.

All lumber is carefully selected for the best possible grain and color match.

All desks are custom made to order so customizing dimensions and layout is easily done.

Cases are constructed using dovetail, and mortise & tenon joinery

Drawers are dovetailed front and back. Drawer interior parts are solid ash or maple with solid wood bottom not plywood.
